I returned home to Franconia to transform the family barn into something lasting — a place where agricultural tradition and my deep respect for nature shape everything we do. After years in renewable energy, the work is now here, in the vineyard.
The wines are made with zero intervention. No additions, no corrections. What ends up in the bottle is an honest record of the year, the soil, and the season — unrepeatable by nature. It is bottled when it is ready for it.
Winemaking is always a collective effort. No great wine is made alone and every bottle reflects the care of the people who worked to bring it here.
The labels are kept minimal on purpose. A label should step aside. So should I. Words move me more than design — so I choose them carefully and let the wine do the rest.

The shop is a joint project — NewKitz, a handful of Franconian winemakers sharing one space in Kitzingen. A different one of us is behind the counter each week.
Every Friday, the shop is open. We uncork four different bottles to try — no pressure to buy, just a chance to taste what we make and why.
It’s not about the sale. It’s about sharing a glass and a bit of time. No expertise needed, no expert questions expected — just show up and taste. A relaxed close to a long week, shared with whoever walks in. Come by, taste, talk, see where the afternoon goes.
