YOU ARE WELCOME. – PINOT BLANC & CHARDONNAY 2024

2024 was a frost year. Not every parcel made it through. These two did.

Pinot Blanc from a 40-year-old vineyard rooted in rich Muschelkalk limestone — vines that have had time to go deep, to find what the soil is holding. Chardonnay from a young parcel on the same stone, still finding its feet, with the energy and directness that comes before a vine settles into itself. On paper an unlikely pairing. In the barrel, something clicked.

Blended together and aged for 12 months on full lees in pre-used barriques — the lees doing their slow work, feeding texture and roundness into the wine while the used wood adds shape without dominating. Then another 10 months in bottle before release. Nearly two years from harvest to table.

It was ready when it was ready.

The name follows the ’23 — Welcome to the Family — which did what it said on the label. This one steps further in. You Are Welcome works in both directions: gratitude offered, and an invitation extended. Make of that what you will.

Unsulfured. No intervention. Worth the wait.
